Turkish-style Arrow No. 3 (thumb ring)
In the photo:
Shaft – spruce, tapered toward the rear.
Nock reinforcement: the entire nock is wrapped up to the glued elements, then cut after the glue has dried and the nock groove shape is carved. Modern materials. Eastern ornamental pattern.
Fletching – natural turkey feathers, shifted toward the rear of the arrow, 3.5". The maximum rearward offset is historically correct for the Turkish style; it allows the use of a zekier and at the same time improves arrow stabilization after release.
Natural shafts, varnished.
